You do not need KitBase to make use of the files.

An excel compatible (CSV) import facility is planned for a future version of KitBase.

Model Magazine References

A list of around 19,000 model magazine references gathered from several thousand magazines over a 30 year period.
Kindly made available to the modelling community by John Loughman, Australia.

Please see the readme.txt file in the ZIP for details of the columns.

As John suggests, local model clubs may be a good source of magazines if you don't possess John's sizable collection.
